Mahjong Crib is an American jazz quartet split between Tokyo & Chicago. The group was founded in 2022 by bassist Take Yokoyama and named after his favorite “Family Gamble“. The group has released a live album “Live at The Hungry Brain Bootleg”, and an EP “Tapenik”, released in April 2023. They have had crossover success, finding audiences in the modern Jazz, Hiphop, and Alternative rock music communities.
