Two Nights with Kirkos at The Spot
St. Louis progressive rock voyagers Kirkos bring two completely different sets across back-to-back nights. Known for crafting “moody soundscapes” influenced by King Crimson, Talking Heads, and John Carpenter, the band blends technical complexity with raw emotion.
Each night features a unique lineup of openers:
Wednesday, September 24th
Sunny Side Down - Indianapolis instrumental psych rock, weaving soulful funk grooves with free-flowing jams and explosive improvisation. Their sets move seamlessly between written hooks and improvisational fire, always heavy on rhythm and soul.
Thursday, September 25th
THIS - Alt-funk rock from Indiana, delivering high-energy riffs and infectious grooves.
Ethan WL - Musician and filmmaker from Gloucester, MA. His American Primitive Guitar explorations (in the lineage of John Fahey, Robbie Basho, Jack Rose) bring a cinematic and meditative edge to the night.
